Culture is the part of this blog closest to my professional background.
I started working in journalism in 2010, and music and culture have followed me through most of my career: interviews, reviews, concerts, radio, artist management, editorial work and countless conversations with musicians and other creative people.
That experience inevitably shapes what interests me here. I enjoy the finished concert, film, book or exhibition, but I am usually just as curious about the decisions behind it: how something was made, why somebody chose one direction instead of another, what went wrong along the way and what never makes it into the official biography or press release.
This section is where music, film, literature, exhibitions, festivals, interviews and other cultural stories come together. Some pieces will be straightforward recommendations or reports; others will go deeper into the people and ideas behind the work.
I spent too many years asking questions for that habit to disappear now.
